This web site is a continuation of the project site for Dynamics of surging and calving glaciers in Svalbard, which aimed to increase understanding of the dynamics of calving and surging glaciers and was a project under GLACIODYN, IPY International Polar Year.
Note that this is not a total overview of Svalbard glaciers or studies.
